Clearwater-Wells Gray Campgrounds

The campground / RV Park is in a treed park-like setting. The campground offers pull through sites with electric, water and sewage hook ups. The campground also has flush toilets, sani-station, free hot showers, and laundry facilities.

This treed campground affords privacy in the rural backdrop of a working bison ranch. Tents and motorhomes are both accommodated, with each site including a picnic table and fire pit. Fire wood is provided. Their is a shower house that is also equipped with outside sinks for dish washing. Camping cabins (basic shelters without heat, power or water) are also available. Large groups can also be accommodated by prior arrangement. Designated kitchen shelters are available.

Leading north of Clearwater, Hwy #5 leads to the south of Well Gray Park, the most popular and easily accessed portion of the park. There are three campground here in the south, totalling 130 vehicle-accessed camping spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tenters may camp in the backcountry, but there are no facilities.

A treed campground with scenic views, Birch Island Campground offer 42 camping sites for RV's and Tents. Amenities include playground, hot showers, Laundry, firewood and WIFI available. Sit back and breath in the fresh Mountain air, watch the sun set over the North Thompson River, watch the Stars twinkle in the clear night sky.

Secluded fishing resort featuring 5 housekeeping cabins and 10 campsites. Cabins all plumbed, central showerhouse for campsites. Boat rentals. Rainbow trout range from 1/2 to 2 pounds. Activities include, hiking, fly fishing, and relaxation.

This campground is now closed. Day viewing of the falls is still permitted via the bus parking and access trail that is located on the trunk road to Shaden View Point.

Accessed by boat only, campers are guaranteed a peaceful stay amongst a treed site. To reach the campground, campers can use the boat launch at the south end of Clearwater Lake.

Enjoy an authentic ranch experience complete with bunkhouses and log cabins. Guest also have the option to choose traditionally painted tipis. Tenters are also welcome at the campground. Conveniently located at the entrance to Wells Gray Park. Various professionally guided tours can be arranged through the ranch.

This campground in Wells Gray Provincial Park has fifty campsites, and access to hiking trails, fishing and hunting. Located in the corridor area of the park.

This provincial campground is located on the western end of Mahood Lake. It is the only lake in the park which isn't glacier fed, meaning that the lake warms up in the summer for swimming. Despite this, the campground remains relatively quite even during high season. Not only is there a large beach, but the lake supports a large number of fishing, from Kokanee to Rainbow trout and more. Campsites are on a first come first serve basis. No reservations accepted.

Located in a provincial park, this campground features 61 sites for vehicles and tent camping. Some basic facilities such as pit toilets, firewood, fire pits, water and picnic tables are provided. Other services can be found in nearby Clearwater. Recreational activities include swimming, hiking, canoeing and kayaking.

Accessible by canoe only Murtle Lake campground offers 69 camping sites available on a first-come, first-served basis. Murtle lake is known as the North America's largest canoe-only lake and is thus a canoer's paradise. Facilites here are at a bare minimum: no showers, no water (campers must bring their own or boil the lake water), and pit toilets.
